Live Art for The Monochronium at The Lighthouse, Dorset
The Lighthouse in Poole, Dorset is the largest Arts Centre outside of London and I was invited back to appear in 2011′s Bookshelf, which was organised by the visual artist Hazel Evans under the exhibition title ‘The Monochronium.’
My part in The Bookshelf this time was to ‘perform’ on a 1m x 1m plinth for three hours alongside four other artists. I created artwork from a pile of books I had never met before using inspiration from them and the Monochromatic theme around me. These artworks were then exhibited in the gallery at The Lighthouse.
