Hazel Evans asked me to make some newspapers for The Monochronium exhibition which is on at The Lighthouse in Poole, Dorset until 9th November 2011. I used extracts of her poetry to create the headlines and to inspire the images I sourced and drew.

I love discovering magic in every day things. Heres some pics from a recent trip to Westonbury Mill Water Gardens in Herefordshire. I’m not sure that my photos do the place justice. The colours are just beautiful and the playfulness of the design of this garden is really inspiring. I’d love to set a story there one day.

I am currently collaborating with artist in residence at The Lighthouse in Poole – Hazel Evans.

It was a busy summer! I explored some more of the UK and have been working on some books and writing as much as I’ve been drawing which has been very exciting, and something I will share over the next few weeks.

I’ve been invited to run an Explosive Drawing workshop at Exeter Phoenix in Exeter, Devon on 23rd August 2011, so please sign up if you are aged between 11 and 16!
