I am post jet lag and looking through photos and sketches from a busy and exciting week in San Francisco. This was my first time to the city so I really enjoyed exploring what SF had to offer and meeting some great people. I am very keen to go back again! Here are some photos of the concertina sketchbook I kept whilst I was there – trying Derwent’s new inktense pencils. (It was great not to have an exploded ink pot in my luggage!)

What a wonderful way to record your journey. I’m inspired!
Thanks Leila! I love having something that is both a book and an object. Drawing whilst you travel is a great way of connecting with a new place!
