Imaginative Drawing with Amelia Johnstone

In honour of the 30th anniversary of the book ‘The Bloody Chamber’ Amelia Johnstone arranged a spectacular two day imaginative drawing course at The Royal College of Art, London. (Where I studied for my MA) I went along with five of my students. We created some collaborative ‘explosive’ drawings alongside RCA students, spontaneously responding to Amelia reading Angela Carter’s stories, and theory about her by writers such as Marina Warner.
